Como gets ready to welcome the 35th edition of the international contemporary textile art exhibition

The cultural association Arte&Arte, under the patronage of the Province of Como and with the support of the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce, the Fondazione Provinciale della Comunità Comasca, Fondazione Cariplo and Confindustria, is organizing Miniartextil 35 – The Poetics of Fragility, running from October 4 to November 1, 2026 (with collateral events from September 17 to December 20).

The 2026 edition revolves around the theme of fragility, understood not as a flaw but as a value: the ability to understand and accept one’s own limits, to reinvent oneself, adapt to change, and rebuild when something breaks. Textile art, with its language of threads, knots and weaves, gives shape to these subtle tensions, generating works that are at once fragile and solid.
