Blue and green, as colors they are elemental…sky, sea, blades of grass, leaves of trees, infinite in hue, tone, intensity and variation...indigo, azure, cerulean, celadon. As metaphor, they serve as code, signaling a mood, a musical genre, naiveté, fertility, rebirth, prosperity, an affinity for nature. For browngrotta arts’ 2018 Art in the Barn exhibition, more than 50 artists will offer blue and green in context, interpreting these colors and what they symbolize in myriad ways — as paintings, sculpture and tapestry.

browngrotta arts will present its 30th Anniversary exhibition, Art in the Barn: Still Crazy After All These Years…30 years in art, at browngrotta arts' barn/home in Wilton, Connecticut.

More than 80 artists from Europe, Asia, North and South America and the UK will participate, presenting wall works, art textiles and indoor and outdoor sculptures.

browngrotta arts is open only 10 days each year. The artists’ Opening and Reception will be on Saturday, April 22nd from 1pm until 6pm. On April 23rd through the 30th, the hours will be 10am to 5pm.
